Where the numbers come from
Most automation savings come from a handful of jobs that every business has: inboxes, write-ups, re-typing, chasing and reports. The calculator takes your hours for each, applies the share we can typically automate, and values the time at your hourly cost.
Real results vary. Some tasks automate almost completely: one client’s meeting write-ups went from about four hours to 15–20 minutes. Others only partly, because a person still needs to check the result. That’s why we always audit first and test on your own work before anything goes live.

What hourly cost should I use?
Take the salary, add around 20–30% for employer’s National Insurance, pension and other costs, and divide by the hours worked in a year. £25 an hour suits most admin roles; fee earners and managers cost more.
Do you store what I enter?
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser and nothing you type is sent to us.
